Good Day!

When: May 14th-18th, 2026

Where: At the private Ghost Air Strip campground northwest of Cochrane.

Check in Time: Check in time is Thursday 11am; please stop at the registration tent

upon arrival. There are no reserving or saving of camping spots. If you want to

camp together; arrive together. Spots will be marked and there are guides to assist

you to get to the spot and to park. There is overflow parking for vehicles and trailers

as the spots will not hold multi vehicles and trailers.

Check out Time: 1:00pm Monday.

Location: We rented the 20 acre Ghost Airstrip Provincial Recreation Area

(PRA) that’s nestled alongside the Waiparous Creek for the May long weekend

camping and riding event.  Click on the BLUE text to access the Google map to for

the event location. There is a cook shack, 40 x 60 heated tent, outhouses, non-

potable water pump and supplied firewood for fires in designated pits; do not take

home any firewood. Nightly community campfires will be held at various fire

pits. Camping at the Ghost Airstrip does not require a Kananaskis Conservation

Pass.

A reminder all participants must meet the following requirements to participate: Valid

insurance, registration, license, and appropriate clothing for the elements. There is

also no use of Alcohol or drugs during rides. All Riders are to follow the Alberta

off highway vehicle helmet law. It is strongly

encouraged those riding in side by sides wear helmets as well. Failure to follow the

rules will result in removal from the event. There will be a daily safety meeting

Thursday-Sunday, all riders are required to attend one meeting prior to riding.

Rides: You will receive a hard copy of the GHOST PLUZ map upon your arrival. It is

encouraged to download the map to Avenza here. You will need to save the file to

your phone or tablet. Then open Avenza, click the plus and select import. Select the

file you downloaded.

Please note there will be guided rides; these have limited spots. Sign up is first come

first serve and will be in the cookshack. Self-navigated rides are encouraged, make

friends and head out together!

Waivers: All attendees to the event are required to sign an event waiver, click here

to download the waiver. Completed waivers can be emailed to

info@calgaryatvriders.com. Thank you to those that have sent them in! Regardless

if you have signed a waiver with your club, you will need to sign one for this event.

To ensure everyone has a delightful time please review the Campground & Riding

rules. All adult participants are required to sign off on the rules upon arrival.

ordering deadlines in the initial screen if you wish to have your items arrive

before/delivered to the Rally.

Volunteers: We are looking for help with a few tasks throughout the weekend. If

you are interested in volunteering, please sign up here. Tasks range from setup,

cleanup, picking up & delivering Porta Potties, etc.

Refunds:

Please note only the camping fee will be refunded after April 30th (minus the banking

fee) if you are unable to attend. Your tickets are transferable to other members of

the 3 clubs, you are responsible to email info@calgaryatvriders.com with the other

party being cc’d to inform us of the transfer. And there is a waiting list that can be

utilized by emailing info@calgaryatvriders.com.
